Financial Exploitation of Seniors

Please join us on November 14, 2023 at the Country Club of York for an educational course offered by the York County Estate Planning Council, a program of the York County Bar Foundation, on the Financial Exploitation of Seniors. The speaker for this event will be John M. Hamme, Esq of the District Attorney's Office.
This presentation will give an overview of financial exploitation of seniors as it relates not only to legal professionals but also to financial professionals. Attendees will learn a number of different aspects of this topic, including the definition of financial exploitation, how to recognize financial exploitation, and how to prevent financial exploitation for their respective clients.
If you attend this in-person lunch it can count as one continuing education credit for PACLE, CFP, PA Ins, and CPA. If you are a current YCEPC member, the cost of registering for this event is free. For all other guests, the registration cost is $70.00. The in-person lunch will consist of a tomato bisque soup with ½ a short rib grilled cheese - or - Goat Cheese and Pear Salad, with Baby greens, roasted pear, crispy goat cheese, autumn spiced walnuts, pomegranate seeds, champagne vinaigrette.
